Comment: Where has 40 years gone? I retire in 2005 after being an electronic tech (hardware and software) for 35 years for Control Data and Cray Research. I have been married to Donna for 33 years. We have moved around a lot California (twice) Idaho, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Missouri. We now live in Orofino Idaho. I am still doing my hunting, fishing and motorcycle racing. Life has been very good to us!

Comment: After leaving Wa-Hi I earned my BS and eventually my EdM from Oregon State University. After six years of teaching high school English I earned my Administrative Certificate from University of Oregon and became a school administrator. I retired and began writing. Working on a novel. Married Kari Usko in 1971. Still married after all these years. We have two bilogical daughters and one adopted daughter. Also have two grandchildren (a boy and girl).

Comment: In May we celebrated 35 years of marriage. We have lived in Walla Walla the whole time. We don't plan to retire for a few more years, but we are looking forward to more time visiting our sons. Shane, 32, lives in Sun Valley, Idaho and is Art Director for SCOTT USA. He and his wife are expecting our first grandchild in September. Chris, 26, lives in Laguna Beach, California and is an editor and web producer for Transworld Motocross Magazine. We wish they lived closer to us, but at least we have lots to do when we go to visit, and they are working. When Gayle retires from teaching, she plans to spend lots of time creating art in her studio. When I retire from the Corps, I will continue to farm our small acreage, restore old cars, dabble in wood-working, and we will both spend lots of time with family and friends.
