Comment: I can't believe it's been 50 years since High School! It will be great to see so many Wa-Hi Friends. Lots has happened since 1968. I spent 4 years at WSU, graduating with a BA in Communications (Journalism). Worked as a reporter at weekly newspapers a while, then got a job in public information/ PR at Southwestern Oregon CC in Coos Bay, OR. I love community colleges and enjoyed the work. Right before starting the OR job, Doreen and I got married in Montesano. We just celebrated our 45th anniversary. After nearly 4 years in Oregon we moved to Reno where I got my masters in Journalism at UNR in 1978. Soon after we moved to University Place, WA to work at Tacoma Community College. I worked as PR director, media spokesperson, and held many other roles including 5 years as VP before retiring after 36 years in 2014. Am still very active in my community. We have two grown children 37 and 33 - both doing well. See you all Soon.

Comment: I'm so glad I was able to attend the reunion. It was great seeing everyone! If any of you come out to New England, please contact me and I will be happy to act as tour guide or direct you to some wonderful locations. Since moving to Massachusetts in 1987, I have come to appreciate more and more the beauty, history, and culture of this corner of our country. However, my roots are still in Walla Walla, and I cherish the friends I made growing up there. My heartfelt thanks to the organizers of our 40th reunion!

Comment: SO, I MISSED ANOTHER REUNION. THIS TIME I WAS IN CA WITH THE THIRD GRANDCHILD,MADELINE. SHE JOINED A SISTER,GILLAIN AND COUSIN MAX. I LOVE BEING A GRANDMA. SO MUCH FUN. I WILL BE AT THE NEXT REUNION IF I'M STILL HERE. SEE YOU ALL THEN. SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAD A GOOD TIME. I'M STILL AT THE LAKE AND LOVE IT. I'VE RETIRED TWICE FROM BANKING AND THIS TIME IT TOOK : )

Comment: It has been a great fifty years since Wa-Hi. After five years at WSU - Go Cougs - other then a five year period in Northern California I have spent all the time in Portland. A wonderful wife plus two children and one grandchild who are the center of my world. Career has been nine years as CPA with the remainder in private ndustry which is far more fun than audits and tax returns! Currently with a hospitality company with plans to cut back on work but not retire for a few more years.

Comment: Married 37 years. Two kids 29,25 NO grandkids yet! Spent 30 yrs. teaching High School physics;(thank you Johnnie Dennis!). Last 4 yrs. partime Math instructor at CBC. Lived in Richland last 32 years. "Never fufilled my dream of becoming a ballerina!" See you Saturday

Comment: Finish Carpenter until accident in 94', and now I voulunteer to deliver meals on wheels and continue to support the Whitman and WA-HI Swim teams by officiating at their meets.
